Saying Goodby is Never Fun

It was time to say goodbye to our good friends the Skabelunds who have been here for 18 months. I always hesitate to make friends when I know someone is going to be moving. Although it was hard not to get to know such wonderful people. I am so glad we did. We will miss them very much. Good luck in Japan!!!

A letter Claire wrote on 9-2-08. - My Best Friend - Have you ever made a friend? I have. I made Jordan, Madison, Zoe, Olie, Maddie, Olivia, Natalie. Zoe and me like to do is play Barbie's and house and hair. We like doing Barbie's hair. Hieckoty (Hikari) was a good good friend of mynd. She teach me how to ride my bike. I went slow and fast it was fun. I can go on my bike by myself wahoooo said me I went sooper dooper fast. I was going to crash into Hiecoty (Hikari), I stopt. the end. ( I wish I could draw the picture she drew on the letter) We will miss our friends.
